The external hoist in Makkah buildings
Many Makkah buildings have narrow entrances and stairs, and the lifts can’t take large sofas and wardrobes. In that case we use an external furniture hoist that lowers pieces from the balcony or window straight to the truck, so walls aren’t scratched and pieces aren’t damaged.
Collection from Makkah’s districts
Some districts near the Haram have set times and routes for trucks, so we send a suitably sized truck. We collect from Al Aziziyah, Al Shawqiyah, Al Naseem, Al Zahir, Al Awali, Al Rusaifah, Al Kakiyah, Al Sharaye, Al Nawariyah, Al Umrah, Batha Quraish and more, as well as Al Jumum and Bahra.
Packing chandeliers and serving sets

- Chandeliers are dismantled and their pieces placed in padded wooden crates.
- Serving sets are wrapped piece by piece in white paper.
- Majlis seating and sofas in plastic then blankets.
- Wardrobes and beds dismantled, with screws numbered.
Loading in Makkah
We bring the furniture down by lift or external hoist and load it into the closed truck in strapped layers for the long trip.

Car shipping from Makkah to Bahrain
We fit a protective cover, load the car onto an enclosed car carrier, secure it with straps and chocks, and photograph it before closing.

The papers: a valid registration, an export certificate or Absher authorisation, a bank no-objection letter if financed, and copies of the owner’s and receiver’s IDs.
Delivery in Bahrain
We deliver to Riffa and its villas, Manama, Muharraq, Hamad Town, Isa Town, Sitra and Amwaj Islands. We call you before arrival, and the crew carries the furniture inside and reassembles it.

Air freight from Makkah to Bahrain
We collect parcels in Makkah and take them to King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, then on to Bahrain International Airport, arriving within one to two days.
The papers we need from you
- A copy of the sender’s national ID or iqama, and the receiver’s CPR smart card or passport in Bahrain.
- A detailed packing list, which we prepare during packing.
- An electronic authorisation for the customs broker through the Fasah platform.
- For commercial goods: commercial registration, invoice, certificate of origin and conformity certificates if required.
- For cars: the registration, the export certificate or Absher authorisation, and a bank no-objection letter if the car is financed.
Customs on the causeway and in Bahrain
The truck stops at King Fahd Causeway for clearance on both sides, and the load passes through an X-ray scanner, with manual inspection if requested. Because Bahrain and the Kingdom are in the GCC customs union, used furniture and personal effects usually pass without duties, while new items and commercial goods may be subject to customs duties and VAT depending on their type and value. We send the details to the broker before the truck reaches the crossing, which shortens the wait.
Do you need insurance?
If your shipment includes a car, electronics or valuable pieces, insurance is worth its small cost. It’s calculated as a percentage of the value you declare, and we document your belongings’ condition with photos during packing, so there’s no dispute about how they looked before shipping.
Prohibited and restricted items
- Flammable materials, gas cylinders and fuel.
- Weapons, ammunition and anything resembling them.
- Medicines in large quantities or without a prescription.
- Fresh food and meat without their health requirements.
