Moving Within the City

p>A move within the city sounds easier than one between cities, but it has its own challenges: rush-hour traffic, buildings with no lift or a very small one, towers where the service lift must be booked, and older neighbourhoods with narrow streets. We usually complete a move within the city in a single day, and we sort out these details before the vehicle arrives.

What Does the Service Include?

• A survey by photos or a visit, with an estimate of the volume.
• Dismantling bedrooms, wardrobes and tables.
• Packing each item according to its type, with numbered boxes.
• Orderly loading, strapped and covered.
• Unloading every piece into its room and reassembling it.
• Air conditioner removal and installation by a technician on request.

Lifts, Towers and Older Neighbourhoods

In towers, we ask you to book the service lift for the hours of the move, and we protect its walls and the floor corridors with moving blankets. In older buildings without lifts, we bring extra workers to carry items down the stairs and dismantle large pieces before they come down. On narrow streets, we pick a smaller vehicle or park at the closest possible point and carry from there.

The Best Time to Move Within the City

Early morning is best: lighter traffic, lower temperatures, and enough of the day left for assembly and arranging. The end of the month, the days before the school year and the Eid holidays are busy periods, so book early if your date falls in one of them.

Moving a single room within the city starts from SAR 280, a two-bedroom apartment from SAR 550, a three-bedroom apartment from SAR 780 and a villa from SAR 1,840.
