How selling to us works:
- Inspection: free, from photos first and then a short visit to your home.
- Price: given on the same visit, and it only changes if the items differ from the photos.
- Payment: before any dismantling or loading.
- Dismantling and removal: on us, from any floor.
- Coverage: every district in Riyadh, with collection usually the same day or the next.
What do we buy?
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Bedrooms | Master bedroom sets, children’s and teen rooms, wardrobes, dressing tables, beds |
| Sofas and majlis seating | Sofa sets, corner sofas, Arabic majlis sets, floor seating with matching curtains |
| Dining sets and tables | Dining tables with chairs, coffee tables, side tables |
| Air conditioners | Split, window and floor-standing units, and central systems after inspection |
| Appliances | Fridges, washing machines, dryers, ovens, TV screens, gas cookers |
| Kitchens | Aluminium and wood kitchens, depending on size and whether they can be removed intact |
| Office furniture | Desks, chairs, filing cabinets and meeting tables |
| Branded furniture | IKEA, Home Centre and other brands, plus classic and modern pieces |
And what don’t we buy?
We’ll say it plainly so you don’t waste your time: we don’t buy used mattresses or bedding, for hygiene reasons, nor pieces damaged by damp, mould or termites, nor anything that would cost more to repair than it’s worth. As for broken appliances, we buy some of them for their spare-parts value depending on the type, and we’ll tell you so at the inspection.
How do we price your furniture?
There’s no fixed price for a used piece, because two bedroom sets that look the same can be worth very different amounts. These are the factors, in order of importance:
- Condition: scratches, breaks, stains, and whether the joints and doors are sound.
- Age: a piece that’s a year old is not the same as one that’s ten years old.
- Wood and material: solid wood holds its value far better than particleboard.
- Demand for the model: some models and colours are much more sought after than others.
- A complete set: a full bedroom set is worth more than a wardrobe on its own.
- Ease of dismantling and removal: a ground floor is a different job from a fifth floor with no lift.
That’s why we don’t quote figures before we’ve seen the items. Send us photos and we’ll reply with an initial estimate, then confirm the price when we inspect.

How much value does a piece lose over time?
| Age and condition | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Under two years old, excellent condition | Keeps a good share of its value, especially well-known brands |
| Two to five years old | A mid-range value, depending on condition and demand for the model |
| More than five years old | A lower value, except for solid wood and sturdy classic pieces |
| Damaged or incomplete | Very little value, or we don’t buy it |
Sell to us, list it on Haraj, or donate it?
| Option | Advantages | Drawbacks |
|---|---|---|
| Selling to us | A price the same day, dismantling and removal on us, the whole house sold in one go | Usually less than selling piece by piece to end buyers |
| The Bin Qasim Haraj market or online ads | You may get a higher price for some pieces | Takes a long time, haggling, strangers visiting, and the transport is your problem |
| Donating | A good deed that helps a family in need | No money back, and some charities won’t take every item |
| Throwing it away | Quick | A total loss, and you may have to pay someone to haul it |
If you have time and a single valuable piece, an ad may suit you. But if you’re clearing a whole home by a fixed date, selling everything at once saves you weeks.
Air conditioners and kitchens: a separate calculation

Air conditioners
A split AC is removed by a technician: the gas is pumped down into the outdoor unit, the lines are disconnected, and both units come down without damaging the wall. We price an AC after checking that it runs and cools and how old it is, and the removal is on us. Window and floor-standing units are easier to take out, while central systems need a dedicated inspection.
Kitchens
A kitchen is priced by its material, its size, the condition of its doors and worktop, and whether it can be taken out without breaking. Aluminium kitchens are easier to dismantle and refit, while wooden ones depend on the quality of the wood and the installation.
We buy your whole home, or just one piece
If you’re clearing a flat or villa before travelling or before handing it back to the landlord, we buy the furniture, appliances and air conditioners in one go, and usually empty the place in a single day. If you only have one or two pieces, we’ll still come as long as they’re worth the trip, and we’ll tell you that from the photos.
We also buy office and company furniture when a business moves or closes, furniture from furnished apartments and rest houses, and restaurant and café equipment after inspection.
From the first call to money in your hand
- Send photos of the items from several angles, along with your location and floor.
- We give you an initial estimate from the photos.
- We book the inspection, a short visit that usually takes no more than half an hour.
- We agree on the final price for each piece or for the whole home.
- We pay you before dismantling anything.
- We dismantle, carry down and load, and leave the place clean.

A clear agreement before anything is dismantled
Before the crew starts, we agree on everything: exactly which pieces the price covers, the amount, who handles dismantling and carrying down from your floor (we do), and the collection time. This protects you from a well-known trick in the market: a high price over the phone, then a big cut after dismantling on the pretext of some defect, when it’s hard for you to back out.
Five questions that reveal a serious buyer
- Is the inspection free?
- Do you pay before dismantling or after?
- Who covers dismantling, removal and carrying down from the floor?
- Can the price change after dismantling? And when?
- Will you leave the place clean?
Ten minutes that raise the value of your furniture
- Clean the pieces and dust them before taking photos and before the inspection.
- Take photos in daylight, from several angles, with a close-up of any defect.
- Keep each set together: a complete bedroom is worth more than scattered pieces.
- Have the purchase invoice or the brand name ready if you have it.
- Empty wardrobes and drawers before the appointment.
- Switch on the appliances and ACs before the inspection so we can check them quickly.
Mistakes that lower your price
- Hiding a defect that shows up at the inspection, which undermines trust in the rest of the items.
- Dismantling pieces yourself without experience, so joints break or screws go missing.
- Selling the good pieces separately and leaving the rest, which then becomes hard to sell.
- Waiting until the last day before moving out, leaving no time to compare offers.
What happens to your furniture after we buy it?

We sort everything at the warehouse: what’s fine as it is gets cleaned and put on display, what needs minor repairs is fixed and refreshed, and what can’t be saved is stripped for its materials. That way a piece finds another home instead of ending up in a landfill, which is better for the environment and for families looking for good furniture at a reasonable price.
Busy selling seasons in Riyadh
Sales of used furniture in Riyadh pick up at the end of the school year when families move, before the long holidays, and when rental contracts come to an end. Appointments fill up quickly at these times, so it’s best to get in touch a few days before your move-out date.

Moving after the sale?
If you’ve sold part of your furniture and are taking the rest to a new home in Riyadh, a wanet furniture move in Riyadh is enough for a room or two. And if you’re leaving the Kingdom and want to ship some of your belongings with you, you’ll find the shipping routes available from Riyadh.
Three common situations in Riyadh
An employee relocating to another city
The new job starts in two weeks and the flat is fully furnished. We buy the furniture and appliances in one go, and he takes only what he wants, so he isn’t paying to move a whole household to a city where he hasn’t even found a home yet.
A family replacing its majlis
A new Arabic majlis is about to be fitted, and the old one is still in good shape. We inspect it, buy it, and arrange to dismantle and remove it a day before the new one arrives.
An office moving to new premises
The new premises are already furnished and the old desks are no longer needed. We buy the desks, chairs and cabinets and move them after working hours so the business isn’t disrupted.
Why does the price vary from district to district?
It isn’t the district itself that changes the price, but what comes with it: villas in the north usually have larger, newer furniture and are easy to reach by truck, while older buildings in the centre and south may have no lifts and sit on narrow streets, which adds to the dismantling and carrying time and the size of the crew. So when we give you an estimate, we tell you whether access or the floor will affect the price, rather than surprising you with it on collection day.
New furniture versus used
Many people expect to sell furniture they bought two years ago for close to what they paid. In reality, a piece loses a large part of its value the moment it leaves the showroom, because the next buyer will also be paying for dismantling, transport, cleaning and perhaps repairs. What holds value is excellent condition, a complete set, solid wood and a model people want. And we explain the reason behind every price we give you, piece by piece.
Questions from people selling their furniture in Riyadh
Is the inspection free?
Yes. We look at photos first, then make a short visit to your home at no charge.
When do I get paid?
Before we dismantle anything, once we’ve agreed on the final price.
Who covers dismantling, removal and carrying down from the floor?
We do, and the price we agree on is the amount you receive in full.
Do you buy just a single piece?
Yes, if it’s worth the trip, and we’ll let you know that from the photos.
Do you buy mattresses?
No, we don’t buy used mattresses or bedding, for hygiene reasons.
Do you buy broken appliances?
Some of them, for their spare-parts value depending on the type, and we’ll tell you at the inspection.
Do you buy office furniture?
Yes: desks, chairs, cabinets and meeting tables.
Do you buy air conditioners?
Yes. Split, window and floor-standing units once we’ve checked they work, central systems after inspection, and the removal is on us.
How long does collection take?

How are you different from Haraj?
We buy the whole home in a day and dismantle and haul at our own cost, whereas selling on Haraj (the classifieds market) takes time and the transport is up to you.
Can the price change after dismantling?
No, unless a defect turns up that wasn’t visible in the photos or at the inspection, and we’ll tell you about it before any adjustment.
