Wanet Furniture Moving in Riyadh +966570419871 — A Room, a Small Flat, Appliances and Errands Across Riyadh and to Saudi Cities

Wanet furniture moving in Riyadh

Wanet furniture moving in Riyadh for one or two rooms, appliances and small flats, plus showroom and shop errands, across every Riyadh district and on to Al Kharj, Qassim, Dammam and Jeddah. Dismantling, packing, loading and strapping, then unloading and reassembly, with the price agreed before loading.

p>A wanet is the answer when your things are more than a dabab trip and less than a truck: a full bedroom set, the household appliances, a bachelor flat, or a shop order. I drive a wanet across Riyadh, from Al Malqa and Al Yasmin in the north to Al Shifa and Al Aziziyah in the south, and from Al Naseem and Al Rimal in the east to Dhahrat Laban and Al Suwaidi in the west. I dismantle your furniture, pack it, load and strap it, deliver it to your new home in Riyadh or on to Al Kharj, Qassim, Dammam and Jeddah, and reassemble it in place.

  40. How people search for a wanet in Riyadh

What to know first:

  • A wanet suits: one or two rooms, large appliances, a small flat’s furniture, and showroom and shop errands.
  • Price: a trip within the district from SAR 65, between districts from SAR 140, and by the hour from SAR 140.
  • Coverage: every Riyadh district, the nearby governorates and cities across the Kingdom.
  • Service: dismantling, packing, loading, strapping and covering, then unloading and reassembly.
  • To book: call or WhatsApp +966570419871 and send photos of what you want moved.

What is a wanet and why do Riyadh residents choose it?

A wanet is a single-cab pickup with a long cargo bed, fitted for moving with tall steel side rails that add loading space and keep things from falling. It is clearly bigger than a dabab and carries in one trip what a dabab needs two or three trips for.

Riyadh is a wide city: a trip from Al Narjis to Badr can exceed forty kilometres. So it matters to move as much as possible in one trip without paying for a big truck. A wanet does that, gets into the inner streets of older districts such as Al Malaz, Al Batha and Al Dirah where a truck struggles, and is not bound by the hours when trucks are banned inside the city.

Wanet sizes and what each carries

Not every wanet is the same. This table helps you see what fits your load:

Type Suits Example load
Small wanet without tall rails Two or three pieces, or one large appliance A fridge and washer, or a sofa and a table
Half-ton wanet with tall rails A full dismantled room A bedroom with bed, wardrobe and dresser plus cartons
Double-cab or long-bed wanet Two rooms, or a room and appliances A bedroom, a small majlis and kitchen appliances
Dyna A flat or house Three rooms or more with appliances

Tip: if you are unsure, photograph the rooms and send them. From the photos I can tell whether one wanet is enough, whether you need two trips, or whether a dyna suits you better, and I will tell you honestly even if the dyna is the better choice.

Wanet, dabab, dyna or lorry?

Criterion Dabab Wanet Dyna Lorry
Load One or two items One or two rooms A flat or house A large villa or goods
Narrow districts Best Very good Hard Very hard
Truck ban hours Not affected Not affected Affected Affected
Cost Lowest Medium Higher Highest
Cargo bed Open Open with rails and cover Usually closed Closed or open
Best for Quick errands Moving rooms and appliances Home moves Large loads

Is a wanet enough for a whole flat? A small one-bedroom flat, yes, in one or two trips. A three-bedroom flat is cheaper with a truck and crew, because three wanet trips can cost more than one dyna trip. And for a single item, a dabab is cheaper.

Wanet prices in Riyadh

These starting prices help you estimate the cost of your trip before you ask:

Trip or service Price
A trip within the same district (one or two items) From SAR 65
A trip between Riyadh districts From SAR 140
Wanet with driver, by the hour From SAR 140 per hour
Moving a two-bedroom flat by wanet From SAR 550
An extra helper From SAR 46
Each extra floor with no lift From SAR 28
Packing From SAR 92
Dismantling and reassembly From SAR 140
Riyadh to Al Kharj From SAR 740
Riyadh to other Saudi cities Set once I know the load and destination

I give you the final price before loading, and it does not change on arrival as long as the items are as shown in your photos.

When is the hourly rate cheaper?

When you have several nearby errands in one day: a showroom pickup, then a seller, then delivery home. The hourly rate is cheaper here than pricing each trip separately. For one clear trip, the fixed price is better for you.

What sets the price?

Factor How it affects the price
Distance The next district is not priced like north to south
Load size One room is not priced like two rooms with appliances
Floor and lift Each floor with no lift adds effort and time
Number of helpers Heavy pieces need more than one person
Dismantling, reassembly and packing Added as needed
Timing Urgent, late-night and peak-season trips are priced differently
Number of stops Each extra pickup or drop-off takes time

How to lower the cost without less protection

  • Dismantle what you can yourself and bag the screws, leaving me only the difficult pieces.
  • Empty wardrobes and drawers into cartons; an empty piece can be carried by one helper.
  • Group your errands into one day at the hourly rate.
  • Book ahead, away from month-end and the days before Eid if you can.
  • Never economise on packing screens and glass; that is the last place to save.

Dismantling and packing the furniture

Dismantling and wrapping a bedroom for the wanet move in Riyadh

A wanet’s bed is open, and Riyadh’s heat and dust reach your things if they are not well protected. So I dismantle wardrobes, beds and dressers, put the screws in numbered bags tied to each piece, and wrap every item with the right material:

Item Packing method
Wardrobes and woodwork Moving blankets, doors tied, drawers empty
Mirrors and glass Rigid cardboard and a protective frame, carried upright
Sofas and floor seating Clear film then a fabric cover
Mattresses A thick protective bag
Screens The original box, or bubble film and rigid cardboard
Rugs Rolled and tied without folding
Kitchenware Packing paper in labelled double-wall cartons

I dismantle what only travels dismantled, and leave fitted kitchens and central air conditioning to their specialist technicians, because that is not a wanet job. For valuable or many pieces, full professional packing can be requested.

Loading, strapping and covering

I plan the load before lifting the first piece: the heaviest goes in first at the front of the bed, appliances stand upright and are strapped to the rails, mattresses and sofas line the sides to protect what is between them, cartons fill the gaps, and light pieces go on top. Then I tighten the load with ratchet straps and cover it with a tarp tied on every side so the wind cannot lift it on King Fahd Road or the Ring Road.

Loading appliances and furniture onto the wanet in Riyadh
  • Glass is never loaded under heavy pieces.
  • A fridge is never moved lying down.
  • Nothing goes above the rails except light pieces strapped down.
  • I check the straps one last time before setting off, and again halfway on a long trip.

Moving appliances only

Many wanet requests are appliances only: a new fridge from the shop, a washer and dryer to a new home, ACs after removal, or a broken appliance to the repair shop. The key preparation points:

Appliance Before the trip During transport
Fridge and freezer Switch off six hours before, empty and dry it Upright and strapped; switch on a few hours after it stands
Washer and dryer Drain the water and lock the drum Upright beside the rail
Split and window ACs Technical removal and gas pump-down Units covered and secured
Screen Keep the original box Upright in rigid cardboard
Cooker Close the gas and disconnect the hose Door taped shut

Bachelor flats and student rooms

A wanet is the best fit for anyone moving a room or a small flat: an employee moving from Al Olaya to housing near work in the industrial area, students moving near the university in Diriyah or Princess Nourah University, or bachelors clearing a flat in Al Batha or Al Malaz. A bed, mattress, small wardrobe, fridge, washer and cartons usually go in one trip.

Shop goods and recurring errands

For shop, showroom and restaurant owners I move stock from the warehouse to the shop, or deliver orders to customers in several districts in one trip. If you need regular transport every week or every day, we agree fixed times and a monthly rate that saves you booking each time.

Type of trip Examples
Showroom trips A sofa, bedroom or dining set from the showroom to your home
Seller pickups Used furniture you bought from someone in another district
Shop orders Cartons of stock and deliveries to customers
Repair trips A broken appliance to the workshop and back
Events Chairs, tables and serving equipment out and back
Old furniture Delivered to a buyer or to a body that accepts donations

Showroom errands and deliveries within Riyadh

I collect your purchases from furniture showrooms on Khurais Road, Takhassusi Street or King Abdullah Road, or from appliance shops, check each piece before loading and photograph it for you if you are not there, then deliver it to your home and carry it into place. I can call at more than one showroom on the same trip; just send the addresses in advance.

Moving a bride’s trousseau

A new couple’s home comes from many places: the bedroom and sofas from a showroom, appliances from a shop, linens, kitchenware and gifts from the family home. I arrange the trips in the order that suits you, deliver everything clean and covered, and assemble the bedroom in place so the home is ready.

Riyadh districts I cover

Area Districts
North Riyadh Al Malqa, Al Yasmin, Al Narjis, Al Sahafah, Hittin, Al Aqiq, Al Qirawan, Al Rabi, Al Nada, Al Wadi, Al Ghadir, Al Nafl, Al Muruj, Al Falah, Al Taawun
East Riyadh Al Naseem, Al Rimal, Al Rawdah, Al Rayyan, Al Munsiyah, Al Yarmuk, Qurtubah, Gharnatah, Al Hamra, Al Khaleej, Al Nahdah, Al Janadriyah, Al Mashriq
West Riyadh Dhahrat Laban, Irqah, Tuwaiq, Al Suwaidi, Al Shubaili, Namar, Al Uraija, Shubra, Al Badiah, Al Zahrah, Dhahrat Al Badiah
South Riyadh Al Shifa, Al Aziziyah, Badr, Al Dar Al Baida, Al Mansuriyah, Al Hair, Okaz, Al Shumaisi, Utaiqah
Central Riyadh Al Olaya, Al Sulaymaniyah, Al Malaz, Al Murabba, Al Batha, Al Dirah, Al Wizarat, Al Rabwah, Al Futah, Manfuhah

Newer northern districts: many buildings have small lifts and underground parking, so tell me if there is a service lift or a loading bay. In older districts in the centre and south, streets are narrow and buildings have no lifts, and that is where a wanet beats a truck.

Governorates near Riyadh

I move from Riyadh to Al Kharj, Diriyah, Al Muzahimiyah, Huraymila, Dhurma, Al Dawadmi, Shaqra and Al Majmaah, and bring your things back from them to Riyadh. A trip to Al Kharj starts from SAR 740, and I set the price for the other governorates once I know the load and address.

From Riyadh to other Saudi cities by wanet

Wanet moves from Riyadh to other Saudi cities

For anyone moving a room or limited belongings to another city, a wanet is cheaper than a full truck. I dismantle the furniture in Riyadh, pack it for a long road with an extra layer and a tightened tarp, and deliver and reassemble it in the new city:

Region Cities Approx. distance from Riyadh
Qassim Buraidah, Unaizah, Ar Rass About 350 km
Eastern Province Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Al Ahsa, Jubail About 400 km
Western Region Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Taif, Yanbu About 850 to 950 km
South Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran, Jazan About 850 to 1,000 km
North Hail, Tabuk, Al Jouf, Arar About 650 to 1,300 km

I set the price to these cities once I know the load and destination. If your things are more than two rooms, moving between cities in a closed truck is cheaper and safer on a long road.

An urgent parcel? Air freight from Riyadh

When what you need is a small parcel that reaches Jeddah or Dammam within a day, or a country abroad within days, you do not need a wanet. I collect the parcel from your home or shop and take it to the shipping office, and from there it leaves by air freight from King Khalid International Airport. It is priced on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, so compact packing saves you money. For larger cartons that are not urgent, land parcel shipping suits you. And if you are moving home to a Gulf country, there are routes such as moving furniture from Riyadh to Qatar in closed trucks, and more on our shipping routes page.

Temporary storage

Sometimes the new home is not ready on the day you leave the old one. I take your things to temporary storage, packed and numbered, then deliver them to the new home when it is ready.

Your move plan from a week before to moving day

When What to do
A week before Send photos and book the date; decide what you will move and what you will get rid of
Two days before Start filling cartons and write each carton’s contents and room on it
The day before Switch off the fridge, empty the wardrobes, and book the service lift if there is one
Moving day Arrange the parking spot, and keep documents, gold and medicines with you
At the new home Check pieces and cartons, and switch on the fridge a few hours after it stands

Timing: same day, urgent, night and holidays

  • Same day: usually possible for small trips; booking ahead is safer for rooms and flats.
  • Urgent: I tell you the expected arrival time honestly depending on traffic.
  • Night and weekends: I work in the evening and at weekends; late trips are agreed in advance.
  • Duration: one appliance usually takes under an hour, a room with dismantling and reassembly two to three hours, and a small flat about half a day.

How to book the wanet

  1. Call or WhatsApp me on +966570419871.
  2. Send photos of the items and the pickup and drop-off locations.
  3. Mention the floor and lift at both ends, and whether you need dismantling, packing or helpers.
  4. I give you the price and time before I set off.
  5. I arrive, load, strap and cover, then deliver, unload and reassemble.

A message like this is enough: “A bedroom, fridge and washer from Al Narjis, second floor with lift, to a villa in Al Rawdah, Thursday morning, dismantling and reassembly needed.”

How to read the price before agreeing

  • Does it include loading and unloading or transport only?
  • Are dismantling and reassembly included?
  • How many helpers will come?
  • Are floors with no lift counted?
  • Does the price change if the receiver is late?

On delivery

Before I leave we check together the number of pieces and cartons, the condition of appliances and glass, and that what I assembled stands firm. Any remark is made on the spot; that protects both of us.

Common mistakes when booking a wanet

  • Booking a wanet for a whole home: repeat trips cost more than one dyna.
  • Leaving out a big piece: an unmentioned wardrobe or sofa may not fit the bed.
  • Forgetting the floor and lift: it changes the number of helpers and the time.
  • Not packing screens: an open bed is unforgiving to glass.
  • Moving a full gas cylinder: it does not travel with the furniture.
  • Agreeing the price after loading: agree before the vehicle moves.
